Doordarshan channel DD Kisan works to release news and information for farmers in the country. The channel is now going to adopt the wave of Artificial Intelligence (AI). DD Kisan is preparing to bring two AI anchors on its channel. After this move, it will become India’s first government TV channel to introduce AI-powered digital human replica to present news and information. AI anchors are being introduced on the occasion of completion of nine years of establishment of DD Kisan. It is worth noting that the channel was launched on 26 May 2015.

A press release from the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Statement According to the ministry, the two new AI anchors have been named AI Krish and AI Bhoomi. The duo will be seen for the first time on DD Kisan on Sunday, when the channel will be celebrating its ninth anniversary. According to the ministry, these anchors can speak fifty Indian and foreign languages.

The Ministry has AI The anchor was introduced as a computer that can look and work like humans. It further said that AI Krish and AI Bhoomi can read news 24 hours and 365 days without taking a break or getting tired.

DD Kisan channel shares news and information about the latest agricultural research at national and global level, trends in agricultural markets, changes in weather and information related to government schemes. Some of the popular shows of the channel include Krishi Darshan, Mandi Khabar, Mausam Khabar and Chaupal Charcha.

AI anchors are computer-generated digital avatars that resemble humans. These avatars run on various AI technologies that allow them to have text-to-voice generation capabilities as well as lip, eye, head, and hand movements in sync with the words being spoken.
